Shadow Tequila wasn't born in a boardroom; it was built in Tennessee. Founded by Memphis-raised siblings Teddy and Tiara Jasper, Shadow exists to bridge the undeniable soul of the South with the timeless craftsmanship of Jalisco.
We built this brand to prove that a Black-owned, independent spirit can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the giants of the category. It is a tribute to where we come from, and a toast to where we are going. Built on the belief that the best moments are never the ones that were planned.
Crafted in Jalisco
It begins on Mexican soil. Our Blue Weber agave grows in the Jalisco Valley and is harvested at nine years of full maturity.
Slowly steam-roasted in centuries-old stone brick ovens for up to 54 hours, the agave is then double-distilled to capture a profile that performs consistently, pour after pour.
